Planning Applications

All planning applications submitted to councils that may affect trees, will require a tree survey and report that considers the impact of the proposed development.

Risk Assessment

Tree safety management is a matter of balancing the ‘Risk of Harm’ from falling trees with the benefits from trees. Although it may seem counter intuitive, the condition of trees should not be the first consideration.

Veteran Trees

Veteran trees are a significant part of the historic, cultural and ecological heritage treasured by many generations; in the past, because of their economic and social value or as elements of picturesque or romantic landscapes and more recently as a result of our increased understanding of their considerable ecological importance.

Mortgage Insurance

Most of the major lenders require a report from a tree surveyor to state that there is no reason, from an arboricultural perspective, that a mortgage cannot be provided on a property. Mortgage providers require this survey because they need to be assured that there is no risk from tree related damage.

Health and Condition Surveys

We undertake the systematic recording of key measurements and observations to inform the ongoing management and maintenance of your trees. Our condition survey report provides a clear and comprehensive account of our findings, sets out professional recommendations, and outlines practical measures to mitigate risk and manage liability, thereby supporting well-informed and confident decision-making.

TPO/Conservation Area Works Applications

Legislation is in place to protect trees of merit or value within our communities. Throughout the country, surveys relating to trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or those situated within a Conservation Area are specialist arboricultural assessments prepared by qualified arboriculturists.
